Job Purpose & Functions
• Manages and oversees project controls for engineering and construction project;
• Responsible for managing scheduling and estimating and the program management information systems;
• Prepares, or supervises the preparation of project estimates, resources budgets vs. costs (manpower, plant & equipment), schedules, forecasts, trends, and progress reporting;
• Establishes operating policies to mitigate risk, proactively proposes improvements to increase productivity;
• Provides guidance and consultation for project managers, technical office, and construction staff;
• Interacts directly with the client regarding planning and progress of the works;
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedure;
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals;
• Performs a variety of tasks;
• Leads and directs the work of others;
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected;
• He implements the material quantity program and participates in value engineering studies.
Qualifications
• 10 years of post-graduate experience (at least 5 of them as planning Engineer);
• You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar) and be an expert user of Primavera 6;
• Strong backgrou in marine works a civil works, complex projects;
• Excellent skil in Planning;
• Excellent in MS Office (especially excel);
• Relevant experience in project management;
• You possess strong coordination skills in English, business development skills, and excellent written and verbal communications skills;
