The Port Diver will be the sole qualified person to execute, evaluate, report, film or take pictures under water and under direct instructions only from the Harbour Master. Responsibilities:
Perform Underwater, surveying, photograph, searches and harbor / sea bottom surveys.
Carry out Inspections of jetties and ships’ hulls.
Identification of surface and underwater explosive devices.
Participate in mine counter measure (MCM) operations.
Perform underwater search and recovery operations.
Perform underwater photography.
Recognize diving or pressure-related illnesses.
Provide assistance to civil authorities when required during domestic operations.
Attend assignmen as assigned.
