Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and requirements.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms.
Conduct market research to identify new trends and potential suppliers.
Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues that may arise.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and regularly report on key metrics.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
