We are a young shipping management company that is looking for a purchasing officer with knowledge of marine procurement for running of the vessels smoothly. The job requirement is as follows:
Knowledge of the vendors and supliers in the industry
Supplier management
Issues tracking
Health and safety regulations.
Develop a Purchase to Pay Cycle
Ability to maintain quality standards.
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
Knowledge of shipping methods and procedures.
Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers.
Support in drafting commercial aspects of purchase and service contracts for the company.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager.
Full time opportunity. Probation 3 months.
Experience:
Marine Procurement: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
