About The Role: We are looking for a motivated Shift Leader to oversee production and team members during scheduled shifts. The Shift Leader is responsible for performing leadership, production, and organization tasks to ensure team members work efficiently and safely during their shift. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run effectively and production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
•Work under the guidance of the Production Manager to execute orders.
•Ensure production schedules and quality standards are achieved.
•Supervise employees and assist with tasks as necessary.
•Manage tardiness and handle last-minute absences.
•Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts.
•Coach team members and train new staff.
•Ensure compliance with company policies including health, safety, and employment standards.
•Manage employee requests and transgressions.
•Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs to management.
•Report issues that arise during the sift to management.
•Foster and maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
•8+ years of progressive experience in the paper industry.
•Experience leading multinational staff and achieving results.
•Strong industry specific experience with production machinery and raw materials.
•Ability to prepare production reports and material requisitions.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Confident problem-solving skills.
•Strong leadership and organizational skills.
•Resilient, assertive, optimistic, and open to change.
