PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR- (INTERIOR DESIGN AND FITOUT)

Job description:
We are currently seeking an INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECTS COORDINATOR to join our Dubai office. Under minimal supervision, this individual is responsible for the technical & administrative support of Interior decor & fit out projects, proactively anticipating and ensuring fulfillment of tasks and deadlines. This individual will provide technical support to senior leaders, project teams and staff as needed, as well as support overall design department operations by collaborating with other staff across the department & firm, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with design drafting team and Project / Production coordinators on all design drawings materials aspects of projects, including design scheduling and logs.
• Define project requirements and schedule during the "brief" • Vendor Coordination - Request samples, product information, lead times and quotes.
• Prepare monitor shop drawings engineering process, final inspections of completed drawings, and coordinate deliveries as per design with Production team.
• Interior Engineering design & production Team Supports - Create, maintain, and coordinate RFI logs, submittal samples, materials schedule, specifications sheets, and cataloging of design concepts, writing communicating with client, Engineers & all other required parties involve.
• Tracki - Prepare and maintain detailed samples / drawings logs for each project as per scope of works. • Attend meetings and prepare draft meeting minutes for Manager approval & project records.
• Coordinate project doents for reproduction and distribution. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of interior design products and applications as CAD, 3D .
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proven punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage a task from start to finish.
• Initiative in communications and problem solving.
• Sound work ethics and the highest level of integrity; ability to handle highly confidential matters with discretion.
• Knowledge of contract management preferred. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS:
• 3 or more years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Prior experience supporting executives of a mid to large sized company.
• Work in a creative or professional services environment supporting multiple leaders.
• Experience working with an FITOUT contracting firm, or Architecture or Interior Design firm.
