• Monitor and control all site work activities and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
• To manage the site on a day to day basis that includes supervising and monitoring the labor force and that of the contractors and subcontractors.
• Scheduling the construction work of the day and ensuring that the projects starts on time and ends within the estimated duration.
• To act as a main technical advisor to contractors and subcontractors, operatives and craft people with respect to the construction site.
• To check drawings, plans, and other qualities to get an accurate calculation of the whole thing.
• Organize, distributes & provide a clear direction of work among subordinates.
• Obtaining and controlling the cost of the material and labor and verifying them.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitary of the site.
• Acting as the quality control and assurance to ensure that the project objectives are met.
• Prepare weekly progress reports on site.
• To level, survey and set out the site where the construction is to take place.
• To manage, monitor and interpret the design of the contract documents that has been supplied to them.
• To oversee the requisition and to ensure that the selection of the materials used are according to the specifications.
• Laying down the preferred construction methods.
• Carry out site check to ensure work execution per approved desi. Assist in troubleshooting of in-situ construction issues.
• Ensure equipment, tanks and piping, etc are of safe design and ensure contractor’s field superviso work safely on site and know their responsibility in safety when overs field activities.
• Review and monitor planned schedule against actual work progress.
• Develop action plan with contractors management team to address slippage in schedule and repo status to Project Team.
