Role & Responsibilities
•Purchasing & Procurement activities for construction materials (3/4 and 3/8 Crushed aggregates (Gabbro Stones), 3/16 Interlock sand, White washed sand, Road Base, Boulders, Sweet soil, Filling sand, Dune Sand, etc.).
•Research potential vendors
•Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
•Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
•Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
•Review the quality of purchased products.
•Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
•Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
•Coordinate with the construction engineer and other departments to get updates on the material requirement.
•Proven work experience in Purchasing, Purchasing Agent, or similar roles.
•Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
•Hands-on experience with purchasing construction materials.
•Understanding of supply chain procedures
•Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
•Negotiation skills.
