BD Electronics Ltd. is an international distributor of electronic components, based in Malta. We provide obsolete technology products globally to manufacturers of various industries: medical, aerospace, military, computer, telecommunications, and transportation. **RESPONSIBILITIES **
Purchasing orders to suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers
Locating products and keeping accurate records of purchases made.
Ensuring that orders received are accurate and goods are not damaged.
Negotiating on pricing, recognizing market trends and in-demand items.
Developing and maintaining business relationships with Vendor Reps.
Interfacing internally with the Sales Department and externally with Vendor Reps.
Working closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company
Maintaining current awareness of industry market trends.
Basic salary: 400 Euros per month (negotiable)
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economi chain manageme Trade
Working detail-orientated and having a good understanding of popular products in the industry.
Having strong knowledge of industry market trends and conditions.
Good organizational skills
English language level B2
The Chinese language is an advantage
Good communication and negotiation skills and showing excellent interpersonal and social skills.
Having a positive and outgoing attitude and being motivated.
Providing good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working as a purchasing assistant in the industry is preferred.
Working hours (Maltese Time):
Monday to Thursday: 8am to 5pm
Friday: 8am to 3pm
