•Monitoring subcontractors all activities and material of construction in accordance with approved drawings and
specifications.
•Inspection of above ground piping, Underground piping & Structural fabrication.
•Ensuring all inspections and tests are carried out as indicated on the appropriate Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) for
piping and fitting materials like LAS,CS,SS,NACE & LTCS from raw material inspection to final dispatch.
•Coordinating with construction engineer and client inspectors for clearing designated inspections.
•Verifying incoming materials for material identification and spool identification.
•Surveillance of storage and baking of Welding Consumables.
•Preparing WPS and PQR.
•Raising NCR for any violation. Co ordinate with client for closing the NCR copies with proposed corrective action.
•Witnessing Hydro test and Pneumatic test of plant piping system.
•Inspection of Piping-system wise and verification according to Isometric Drawing
•Inspection of Structure Welding and Piping Supports.
•Witnessing & Surveillance of blasting and painting of piping and structure.
•Final clearance and doents review of Test pack of piping system as per Line
•Doent updating; Report Preparation, Status Reporting, Coordination with Contractor for Corrective and
Preventive actions.
•Worked as a third party Inspector at sites, vendor’s place from raw material to final stage, as per different codes &
standards, including witness and doents review like WPS, PQR, and WPQ.
•Inspect the incoming raw material and reviewing MTC and other doents.
•Visit various sites and Vendor’s shop for Inspecting activities for the Items such as pipes, valves, tanks, Fasteners,
raw materials, fabricated items as per PO, drawings, QAP or other doents.
•Visual Inspection and monitoring welding of SMAW, GMAW, SAW, GTAW etc.
•Witness of Welder performance Qualification and Procedure qualification test.
•Material identification, applicable testing, stage-wise inspection of welding & fabrication like Joint Fit-up, Welding,
Painting. Coating etc.
•Reviewing the internal inspection reports and witnessing the tests like Chemical Tests, Mechanical Tests,
Galvanizing Tests, Hydro Test, And Pneumatic Test, and NDT Etc.
•Review the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) of vendors for approval.
•Prepare the Surveillance Inspection Report.
•Prepare the Inspection Release Note.
•Inspection of steel structure as per approved drawing with maintaining the quality as per ITP.
•Involve in the marking, cutting, fitting and welding work, NDT Inspection, Painting inspection on site.
•Prepare WPS, PQR, welder test certificates.
•Maintain all the material Test Certificates.
•Inspect the coating and Painting according to the Quality manual.
•Final Visual Inspection before sending for Erection.
•Liaison with Client.
