We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervis with a passion for oil refining and trading of industrial oil.
To ensure the management and direct supervision of processing operations. This position will ensure production meets objectives at a designed quality level consistent with the lowest cost while maintaining a safe work environment. As an experienced supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of operators to ensure operational production standards are met.
You will effectively plan, monitor and coordinate personnel, equipment and resources to achieve the company’s set targets and schedules.
This role will be of interest to someone who enjoys coaching and mentoring an established crew, interesting investigative challenges and effectively working with other departments on site.
Responsibilities:
•Planning and organizing production schedules.
•Assessing project and resource requirements.
•Determining quality control standards
•Overseeing production processes
•Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
•Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
•Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
•Supervising the work of junior staff
•Organizing relevant training sessions
•Decide how best to use a plant’s workers and equipment to meet production goals
•Ensure that production stays on schedule and within budget
•Hire, train, and evaluate workers
•Analyze production data
•Write production reports
•Monitor a plant’s workers and programs to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements
•Streamline the production process
•Determine whether new machines are needed or whether overtime work is necessary
•Fix any production problems
Educational Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering or Business
Key Skills
•Deep and up-to-date knowledge in related to industrial oil varieties.
•Knowledge of the oil filtering and blending process.
•Communication skills to get works done by operators.
•Basic understanding of the machinery used for process.
•Able to manage workers.
