Quantity Surveyor (Structural Steel)
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Preparation of measurement sheets and detailed quantity take-off based on drawings and doents for tender and on-going projects.
· Prepare request for quotation packages to be sent to Suppliers and Subcontractors.
· Evaluate and formulate bill of quantities for direct and indirect costs.
· Sourcing suppliers and subcontractors for tender and on-going projects.
· Construct and assess comparison sheets for quotations from Suppliers and Subcontractors.
· Procurement of materials as per issued fabrication or shop drawings.
· Preparation and submission of variation order quotation.
· Submission of progressive claims to client and follow up for payment response.
· Preparation, checking and monitoring project budget.
· Evaluation and verification of supplier and subcontractor claims.
Requirements
Experience in Pre & Post tender
At least 5 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degr Graduate Diplo Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metals
Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills.
Strong computer skills, including AutoCad, MS Office
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
