We are seeking 4 experienced quantity surveyors, estimators, with a minimum of 10 years in the construction industry, to join our team in the Middle East. Reporting to the tender department manager, this position will be responsible for the crucial tasks of calculating quantities, obtaining prices, and creating pricing for various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Calculating and analyzing project quantities and associated costs
Obtaining market prices and researching material and equipment costs
Developing detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs
Coordinating with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely pricing
Utilizing local resources to enhance project cost-effectiveness
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects
Proficient in using construction estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with local construction markets and resources is essential
Fluent in English and Arabic is preferred
Compensation: 8000-15000AED (A comprehensive salary package is negotiable based on experience and skills)
