Registered nurse for school will provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness
Develop health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities
Educate students and staff on healthy habits, such as proper nutrition and hygiene
Detect health problems in early stages through regular screenings
Keep track of students’ vaccination records
Update students’ medical history
Ensure school environment is safe for children and school staff (e.g., prevention of communicable diseases)
Write referrals for pediatricians and other health specialists
Ensure compliance with national and local health laws
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is a must with mandatory BLS certification.
Registered Nurse (RN) license of HAAD or DOH is required
Nurses with HAAD or DOH PASRR certificate can also apply with proper validity.
Must have proven experience as a nurse for 2 years.
Knowledge on areas of health including mental health
Ability to work independently or with others
Ability to communicate well with others
Ability to assess situations and act quickly
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Wonderful bedside manner
Must have good clinical skills
