Position Overview:
The role of a Residential Engineer at a project site in Dubai is to oversee and manage the construction and development of residential buildings. This position requires a strong engineering background and excellent project management skills to ensure the successful execution of the project according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Project Management: Manage and coordinate the construction activities of residential buildings from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and schedules.
2.Design Review: Review architectural and engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and project requirements.
3.Construction Supervision: Supervise and monitor the construction progress, quality of workmanship, and safety compliance on-site, resolving any technical issues that arise during the construction phase.
4.Contractor Management: Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, overseeing their performance, evaluating their work, and ensuring they meet project standards and deliverables.
5.Material and Equipment Management: Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and systems, ensuring they meet project specifications, quality, and budgetary requirements.
6.Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures and inspections to ensure that construction work meets the defined standards and specifications.
7.Doentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, doentation, and reports related to the construction progress, including daily logs, site instructions, change orders, and project reports.
8.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including architects, consultants, clients, and government authorities, to ensure smooth project coordination and resolve any issues or concerns.
9.Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project expenses, analyze cost reports, and take necessary measures to ensure adherence to the project budget.
10.Health and Safety: Promote and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture .or a related fields .
•Proven experience in residential construction projects, preferably in Dubai or the United Arab Emirates.
•Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
•Proficiency in construction project management software and tools.
•Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
•Familiarity with sustainability practices and green building standards is a plus.
•Professional certifications or memberships in relevant engineering associations are advantageous.
