We are looking for restaurant cashier (female Filipino) for Chinese restaurant -Work location Hyatt Deira.
Job Responsibilities:
· Process customer orders and record them in the restaurant database.
· Redirect the orders to kitchen staff.
· Redirect online orders to kitchen staff and record in the restaurant database and arrange for delivery pickup.
· Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner.
· Accept cash and return the correct change.
· Accept payment by credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
· Issue receipts, refunds, credits to the customers.
· Answer incoming phone calls and direct to the concern team.
· Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
· Calculate total payments received during a period and reconcile this with total sales.
· Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions.
· Compute and record totals of transactions.
· Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
· Arrange dai cash deposit at the bank transaction upon approval of concern manager.
· Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records.
· Make reservations for customers.
· Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations.
· Receive food checks from waiters or customers.
