Job Description

Seeking a Fire Alarm Solutions Sales Engineer for our fire safety & security business. The focus will be on new opportunities via General and Electrical contractors in the vibrant market, managing and growing the business through new construction, renovations and retro-fits within the country of Kuwait.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sells fire alarm systems and other related systems. Achieves orde and gross margin goals.
• Achieves minimum basic annual quota or more on a consistent basis.
• Creates new market share by selling a broad range of products and services to new customers.
• Demonstrates strong prospecting skills and the ability to build customer relationships through consultative selling and promoting customer confidence in the company. Searches for and qualifies opportunities on an ongoing basis; follows up with prospects in a timely manner.
• Conducts post installation follow up by contacting customers, ensuring commitments were met and affirming customer satisfaction once the customer has purchased a system.
• Performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations. Provides accurate forecast of activity and potential sales.
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of complete line of produc and customers’ issues and needs through in-house training, networking and research.
• Utilizes approved marketing materials to present sales presentations and proposals to prospects, assuring the customer understands our value proposition, positive features, and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.
• Independently establishes call plans and customer follow up strategies and tactics; consistently applies time and territory management techniques.
• Influences new construction specifications through engineering relationships and educational meetin.
• Works with departments within the organization and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain sales.
• Develops and executes tactical sales strategies, including end users, developers, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Prepares sales promotion campaigns for customers to promote product lines to commercial markets.
