Responsibilities:
Patrolling and monitoring premises to prevent and detect unauthorized access, security breaches, and safety hazards.
Controlling access points, including verifying the identity of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Conducting security checks and screenings as necessary.
Responding to alarms and security incidents promptly and professionally.
Observing and reporting any unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
Assisting in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Providing assistance and guidance to employees and visitors as needed.
Completing detailed and accurate incident reports.
Maintaining surveillance equipment and other security devices.
Collaborating with law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and other security personnel as required.
Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on security best practices.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need:
A high school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or training in security or law enforcement are preferred.
Proven experience as a Security Guard or a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
A valid security guard license, if required by local regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent observational and problem-solving abilities.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
Integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Basic computer skills for report writing and incident doentation.
