Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Planning and Forensic Delay Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in project planning, delay analysis, and the resolution of complex scheduling issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1.Project Schedule Management:
•Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
•Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment of schedules with project objectives.
2.Critical Path Analysis:
•Utilize in-depth knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project to analyze critical paths and identify potential delays.
•Investigate and understand the causality chain behind project delays.
3.Delay Analysis Techniques:
•Apply various delay analysis techniques, including Time Impact Analysis, As Planned vs. As Built, and Window Analysis.
•Conduct forensic delay analysis to determine the causes and impacts of project delays.
4.Extension of Time and Disruption Claims:
•Manage and assess Extension of Time (EOT) claims and disruption claims.
•Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather relevant information for claims doentation.
5.Standards and Protocols:
•Possess very good knowledge of AACEi (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International) and SCL (Society of Construction Law) delay and disruption standards and protocols.
6.Presentations:
•Develop and deliver effective presentations using PowerPoint to communicate complex delay analysis findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1.Educational Background:
•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, European Qualifications is a plus.
2.Professional Experience:
•Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with a focus on delay analysis in the construction or engineering industry.
•Infrastructure, roads, and oil and gas projects experience is a must
•Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time.
3.Technical Skills:
•Proficient in the use of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
•Expertise in forensic delay analysis techniques and methodologies.
4.Certifications:
•Professional certifications in project management or scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP, AACEi PSP) are highly desirable.
5.Communication Skills:
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
6.Legal Aen:
•Familiarity with construction contract language and legal processes related to delay claims.
7.Team Collaboration:
•Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and interface effectively with clients and contractors.
