Job Description

Looking candidates for the position of Shipping Agency Operations Coordinator at our Office in Dubai. The main duties are to coordinate with principals, vessel masters, port operations staff, cargo receivers and suppliers to ensure the smooth turnaround of vessels.

Accountabilities:
• Ensure timely, accurate and effective provision and management of services & supplies to the vessels as required by vesse.
• Coordinate effectively with port operations staff to ensure smooth delivery of services and handling of vessel operations.
• Communicate with principals effectively, providing timely and accurate reports to assist in future voyage planning.
• Maintain all communications related to a port call in a dedicated Outlook folder, with all relevant documents attached and saved in an operational system.
• Input port call data in the Shipping system in a timely and accurate manner to ensure up-to-date information is provided in real-time.
• Board the vessels for agency operations related matters.
• Other duties requested or delegated by the manager to ensure the company’s service levels are maintained.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Other Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid UAE driving license
• Ability to work for extended hours when required
• Flexible to work in both offices (Abu Dhabi main office and Ruwais branch office)
• Proficient knowledge of computers especially in MS Office – Excel & Outlook
• Good English communication skills – both written and spoken
• Minimum 4 years experience in shipping operatio services
• Good work ethic to comply with policies and procedures of the company
• Cultural awareness to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
