The SmartPlant 3D (S3D) Administrator is responsible for project set up, maintenance and support of the system, including:
Collect and implement project requirements of hierarchy, naming rules, document numbering format, border file, volume naming definitions, project specific pick lists, common filters, catalog components, and surface style rules. Coordinate server and database requirements for all 3D systems including replication with satellite offices; setup and manage S3D workshare. Catalog management including loading codelists, add standard reports and templates, uplo catalog and reference files, devel drawing templates, load project volumes, setup SPR batch processes, create project specific symbols. Create and manage drawing viewstyles and templates with input from engineering discipline staff. Create department standard and project specific reports and reporting methods as needed. Complex reporting including SQL and VB. Implement Rulechecker Service in SP3D including C# customization Create and load SP3D naming rules including customization in VB. Gather interference detection requirements from the design group and implement in code. Set up DUSS, View Regeneration and Synchronization, and Database Integrity check on all projects. Creation and maintenance of 3D pipe support and hangers in VB6 and. Net.
It is critical for this role that the candidate it extremely familiar with the S3D database, writing complex queries and extracting da. Creation of labels, (COM & SQL), for SPR reports and drawings are necessary.
7+ years experience supporting Intergraph products including PDS and SmartPlant 3D (S3D) Excellent English oral and written communication skills required. Knowledge of SP3D metadata browser, writing SQL Queries, custom commands and VB.NET. Experience with PDS, SmartPlant Foundation and integration with data flow between engineering application will be a benefit. Experience in Oil and G.
