Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager in the Chemical industry or Oil and gas to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain processes. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing three key teams: Warehouse, Logistics, and Procurement. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination, efficiency, and continuous improvement within our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Provide effective leadership and supervision to the Warehouse, Logistics, and Procurement teams.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Warehouse Management:
Oversee the efficient functioning of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment.
Implement best practices for inventory management and warehouse operations.
Logistics Coordination:
Manage the logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Optimize transportation routes and distribution strategies for maximum efficiency.
Procurement Oversight:
Lead the procurement team in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations.
Ensure procurement activities align with organizational goals and cost-effectiveness.
Supply Chain Optimization:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates and address supply chain-related issues.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and effective risk management strategies.
Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
Performance Metrics:
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams.
Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on the Chemical industry or Oil and gas.
Must have experience in KSA
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, industry trends, and technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with relevant software and systems for supply chain management.
