We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Taxi Driver to join our team. The Taxi Driver will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their desired destinations.
- Follow pre-determined routes or use GPS navigation to determine the most efficient route for passenger drop-offs.
- Greet passengers courteously and assist with loading and unloading luggage or other belongings.
- Provide excellent customer service by being polite, friendly, and professional at all times.
- Collect and verify payment from passengers, including handling cash or operating card payment systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle, including regular cleaning and inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers and other road users.
- Stay updated with traffic conditions, road closures, and alternative routes to minimize delays.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to the supervisor or company management promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours worked, and transactions for accounting and auditing purposes.
- Abide by company policies, including dress code and appearance standards.
- Provide assistance or guidance to passengers regarding local attractions, restaurants, and other points of interest as requested.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a taxi driver or in a related field is preferred.
- Good knowledge of the local area, including major landmarks, streets, and destinations.
- Excellent driving skills and a solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle various payment methods, including cash and electronic payments.
