Chinese School Dubai, located in Mirdif, is looking for a friendly and competent Classroom Assistant to join our team to start from Sep 2021. If you are a compassionate and self-motivated individual with a specific interest in education, we urge you to apply! In this position, you will assist the teacher with a wide range of tasks on a regular basis. You will be responsible for supervising students, preparing lesson material, and maintaining classroom tidiness. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting with reading-related activities, running small group activities inside or outside and preparing the classroom activities and the supporting documents. You will cover a class for short periods of time when needed, which requires you to have basic knowledge of literacy, numeracy and phonetics. You will also be responsible to manage the cupboards stock, taking children to toilets and observing students during snack and lunchtime.
Bachelor Degree is required. You have a good level of general education, especially in Mathematics and English. You have previous experience in a similar position and love to work with children by being energetic and having a positive attitude. You are a good communicator with an excellent command of English. You are computer-literate and can multitask.
