Job Overview
As a Travel Planner, you will be responsible for planning cost-effective travel arrangements for the clients according to their needs. You will be responsible for recommending places as per the client’s budget.
Your main goal will be to improve the client’s travel experience in the most efficient way possible. To be a successful Travel Planner, you should make the necessary hotel arrangements, flight tickets, and other transportation arrangements.
You should possess extensive knowledge of famous travel destinations. It would help if you also answered all the travel-related questions. In addition to this, you should also resolve queries professionally asked by the clients. It would help if you were highly willing to guide people professionally.
In addition to this, you should possess excellent customer service skills with the ability to work for a long period. You should also have excellent general knowledge with incredible attention to detail.
Responsibilities
•Discuss with the client their travel plans.
•Preparing travel packages that are suitable for the client’s needs.
•Suggesting travel destinations and famous spots.
•Preparing travel budget as per the specifications provided by the client.
•Making bookings and reservations of hotels, flights, and other related activities.
•Answering all the queries and questions professionally.
•Research detailed information about hotels, restaurants, cafes, and others.
•Negotiating for the best prices with tour guides, restaurants, and rental companies.
•Maintaining a healthy relationship with the vendors and the clients as well.
•Staying updated with the knowledge of the latest travel trends.
Requirements
•Male.
•Be born after 1995.
•Fluent in reading and writing Arabic and English.
•Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Travel, or a related field.
•Proven 2+ years of experience as a Travel Planner, Travel Agent, or a similar position in the Travel industry.
•Demonstrate great experience in planning and managing travel-related activities.
•Familiar with various travel destinations.
•Proficiency in reservation software such as GDS, and others e-traveling.
•Strong experience and knowledge of international and domestic travel trends.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Strong organization and analytical skills.
•Exceptional customer service skills.
•Strong negotiation and sales skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
•Customer-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver.
•Good numerical abilities.
•Ability to work independently.
•A keen eye on details for accuracy.
•Good time management skills.
