Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Vehicle Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, materials, or passengers to and from designated locations.
Responsibilities:
Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
Transport goods, materials, or passengers to and from specified locations.
Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies at all times.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Maintain accurate records of trips, including fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery details.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly.
Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures as necessary.
Valid driver's license for the appropriate vehicle class.
Proven experience as a vehicle driver, with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items when required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
Flexibility to work varied hours and weekends as needed.
