Responsibilities:
•Provide first-class nursing care to patients, including documentation, monitoring, health checking, feeding and grooming.
•Administer treatments including injections, tablets, drips and blood transfusions.
•Assist veterinarians during routine and non-routine procedures and protocols.
•Perform diagnostic tests, e.g. blood sampling, urine analysis and x-rays.
•Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the practice.
•Boost pet owners' knowledge about routine and specialized caring procedures.
•Deliver steadfast emotional support to the animal owners, particularly throughout distressing periods.
Requirements:
•Demonstrable experience as a veterinary nurse.
•Well-honed surgical etiquette.
•A decisive, communicative, and innovative disposition.
•Thoughtfulness about animals' well-being.
•Great communication & people skills
•Excellent observational skills
•Confidence in handling a variety of animal species
•Ability to work as part of a team.
