We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Wait to join our dynamic team. As a Wait, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing attentive and friendly service.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests warmly as they arrive, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus.
Accurately record guests' food and beverage orders, including any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Ensures prompt and efficient delivery of orders to the correct tables. Handle multiple orders simultaneously and coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth service.
Have a thorough understanding of the menu to assist guests in making informed decisions. Provide recommendations and describe specials when necessary.
Keep dining areas clean and well-maintained, including clearing empty plates, utensils, and glassware. Ensure tables are properly set up before and after each meal service.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
