As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse. This position involves various tasks, including receiving, organizing, and dispatching goods. We are looking for an energetic team player who can contribute to maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspection:
Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders.
Inspect and report any damaged or missing items.
Inventory Management:
Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist in cycle counting.
Order Picking and Packing:
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare orders for shipment and coordinate with logistics.
Loading and Unloading:
Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment.
Ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
Quality Control:
Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
Report any quality issues to the supervisor.
Doentation:
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
Generate shipping labels and other necessary doentation.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and doentation.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
