Job Description:
Our company is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Helper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks within the warehouse in order to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with receiving incoming inventory and verifying its condition against purchase orders
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking inventory and staging it for loading onto trucks
- Ensure that inventory is organized properly in the warehouse to facilitate efficient movement
- Assist with inventory management by counting, labeling, and storing products properly
- Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if required)
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse
- Notify the Warehouse Manager of any inventory discrepancies or safety hazards
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stand or walk for long hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Forklift or pallet jack certification (if required)
