Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Warehouse Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the warehouse operations and duties related to receiving, storing, and shipping products.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the loading and unloading of products and ensure that they are safely stored
- Receive, tag, and stock items in the warehouse
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, after training and getting certified
- Keep an accurate record of inventory levels and prepare regular inventory report for management
- Pack and prepare products for shipping, labeling them accurately and ensuring the quality of the packaging
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area
- Assist in the assembling of products or performing product quality checks
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to fulfill customer orders in timely fashion
- Follow all safety procedures in the warehouse to avoid accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar setting
- Must be able to lift and carry boxes of various weights up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- Good communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to learn and follow safety regulations, including wearing appropriate protective gear
- Should be in good physical condition with the ability to stand, bend, and lift for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- A valid driver's license is preferred
