CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING LOGISTIC QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
•Excellent command on Shipping / logistic field (Export & Import) required with 5-7 years similar job experience.
•Should have good communication skill both in verbal and writing English (min) to interact with supplie.
•Thorough proficient in MS Office packages is a must (Excel with pivot / Word / PPT / Photoshop / email etc IS MUST)
•Has strong interpersonal, communication and organisation skills.
•Checking emails and give them appropriate reply.
•Manage / maintain Commercial Invoices / daily follow up for status & documents.
•Very strong follow up with suppliers.
•High degree of multi-tasking abilities and time management capability.
•Soft spoken & well-groomed must.
•Negotiate prices with logistic compani companies and freight forwarders to ensure availing the best market rate.
•Should know how to switch shipment / documents.
•Should be well knowledge to generate Certificate of Origin from Dubai chamber of commerce etc.
•Preparation of shipping documents as per the destination requirements like Invoi Li.
•Booking in deliveries and liaising with customers.
•Booking sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms.
•Handling shipment clearances.
•Tracking and monitoring shipments status on daily basis & update E to ensure on time delivery.
•Forward and follow-up shipment invoices to accounts for payment.
•Develop reports on cargo movements and various operational logistics issues.
•Prepare detailed container tracking stat & MIS reports on weekly basis.
•Develop and execute tools and methodologies to enable effective implementation of logistic plans.
•Design and develop standard operating methods to manage logistics operations efficiently.
•Ensure accountable, timely and cost-effective release of peacekeeping cargos along with personnel.
•Coordinate and present logistics support to ongoing land, air, rail and sea operations.
•Ensure logistics requirements take gender-specific needs into consideration.
•Coordinate logistics activities related to procurement, funding, substantive units and humanitarian affairs.
•Develop and execute logistics support policy, processes and methodologies to general benefit of all mission units.
•Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems.
•Involve in technical survey missions for new assignments and pre-deployment corroboration visits to troop contributing countries.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Must have 5 – 7 years relevant experience in the same logistic field.
•Preferably have bachelor’s degree with attested certificates.
•Relevant field experience may substitute for Education.
•Fresher’s are not welcome to apply.
