Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Boat Captain located in Dubai. The Boat Captain is responsible for operating and maintaining the yacht, ensuring that the vessel is seaworthy, planning and executing safe voyages, supervising and managing the crew, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. The Boat Captain is also accountable for ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction for all passengers.
Qualifications
• Valid commercial captain's license or certification
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Boat Captain or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of maritime regulations, safety protocols and procedures, and navigation technology.
• Experience in managing a crew and ability to exercise sound judgement and decision making in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on the vessel
• Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
