Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them in their purchase decisions.
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
Provide information about products, promotions, and pricing.
Maintain a clean and organized cash counter area.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Upsell products and encourage add-on purchases.
Ensure proper cash handling procedures and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve store targets.
Keep track of inventory levels and inform the management of restocking needs.
Uphold a positive and customer-friendly attitude.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cashier or Salesperson in a retail environment.
Strong numerical and communication skills.
Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy.
Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of products and services offered.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
