We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman with experience in preparing detailed electrical shop drawings for building construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and revise electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
Develop layouts for power, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, earthing, lightning protection, and other electrical systems.
Coordinate with MEP disciplines, architects, structural engineers, and site teams.
Prepare material take-offs and assist in quantity calculations.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and applicable standards.
Review consultant comments and incorporate revisions as required.
Prepare detailed drawings related to precast structures, including electrical provisions, conduits, sleeves, openings, and embedded items.
Support site teams with technical drafting and drawing modifications.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in the U.
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
Strong understanding of electrical systems including power, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
Experience in precast construction projects is preferred.
Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and work under project deadlines.
Knowledge of AD and local authority requirements is an advantage.
