Eyelash Technician Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of an eyelash technician include:
• Applying eyelash extensions by individually gluing lashes to
natural lashes using a specialized adhesive.
• Setting up workspaces for every client.
• Meeting with clients to learn about their needs for eyelash
extensions.
• Performing other cosmetic eyelash procedures, such as
eyelash tints and lifts.
• Observing all state laws and regulations regarding the
cleaning and disinfection of tools and supplies.
• Conducting a complete client consultation.
• Putting on eyelash extensions in a careful and safe manner.
• Always Keeping yourself clean to avoid contracting
infections and other harmful conditions.
• Ensuring that before application, the client’s eyelashes are
cleaned with an antimicrobial solution.
• Maintaining constant contact with clients.
• Adhering to salon hygiene standards.
• Educating yourself on the most recent eyelash extension
methods and supplies.
• Completing consultations to determine the ideal eyelash
extension color and length for the client.
• Advising clients on the best products for maintenance and
aftercare.
• Giving clients aftercare advice and product
recommendations.
• Purchasing cleaning supplies, adhesives, and eyelashes.
• Accepting payment and arranging for follow-up visits.
Qualifications
