Job Description: The Finance Manager oversees all financial activities and operations within an organization.
Develop financial strategies, plans, and policies to achieve organizational goals.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and reporting standards.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
Manage the cash flow and liquidity of the organization.
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, conducting performance evaluations and providing development opportunities.
Keep updated on accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
Work under time pressure, monitor portfolios, and make timely investment decisions.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
Experience in producing management reports and conducting financial analysis.
Knowledge of inter-company accounting and reconciliation.
Familiarity with auditing investment portfolios (bonds, stocks, private equity).
Excellent organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
