Job Summary:
As a Guest Service Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding service to guests and patrons, addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. This role involves effective communication, problem-solving, and a strong focus on creating a positive and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a warm and friendly welcome.
Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications promptly and accurately.
Respond to inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and tact.
Communication:
Maintain clear and effective communication with guests, colleagues, and management.
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Utilize various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve guest concerns or issues promptly and to their satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure quick and effective solutions.
Report any unresolved issues or trends to the management team.
Administrative Duties:
Perform front desk duties, including processing payments, handling cash, and managing guest accounts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of guest interactions and transactions.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Hospitality:
Ensure a clean and organized lobby area to enhance the overall guest experience.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address room-related issues promptly.
Offer assistance with guest luggage and provide information on additional services.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive and positive work environment.
Provide support to colleagues during busy periods or as needed.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
