**Job Summary:**
The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, managing kitchen staff, and creating menus that meet customer expectations while controlling costs.
### Key Responsibilities
* Plan, create, and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Supervise and train chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
* Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards.
* Monitor food preparation and portion control.
* Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in compliance with local regulations.
* Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
* Schedule kitchen staff and oversee daily kitchen operations.
* Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any repairs needed.
* Work closely with restaurant management to improve customer satisfaction and profitability.
* Handle customer feedback related to food quality when necessary.
* Develop new recipes and introduce innovative dishes.
