Position Summary
The Hydraulic Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, testing, and maintenance of aircraft hydraulic components and systems in accordance with OEM manuals, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. The role supports aircraft component MRO activities within a regulated aviation environment and requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and UAE aviation authority standards.

Key Responsibilities
•Perform inspection, disassembly, repair, overhaul, assembly, and testing of aircraft hydraulic components and systems.
•Troubleshoot hydraulic malfunctions and determine corrective actions.
•Read and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Service Bulletins (SB), Engineering Orders (EO), and technical drawings.
•Operate hydraulic test benches, pressure systems, and specialized aerospace tooling.
•Conduct dimensional inspections and functional testing of hydraulic units.
•Ensure all maintenance activities comply with:
oUAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA)
oEASA Part-145 standards
oFAA standards where applicable
oCompany quality and safety procedures
•Complete maintenance doentation and work orders accurately.
•Maintain tooling calibration and workshop housekeeping standards.
•Support incoming inspections, material control, and component traceability requirements.
•Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, and planning departments.
•Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
•Diploma or Technical Certification in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or equivalent.
•Minimum 1–5 years of experience in aircraft hydraulic maintenance or aerospace component repair.
•Experience working within an aviation MRO environment preferred.
•Familiarity with Boeing and Airbus hydraulic systems preferred.
•Knowledge of EASA Part-145 and GCAA maintenance requirements.
•Ability to read engineering drawings and technical manuals.
•Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
•EASA Part-66 background or equivalent aviation maintenance training.
•Experience with:
oBoeing 737NG / MAX
oAirbus A320 family
oHydraulic actuation systems
oLanding gear hydraulics
•NDT familiarity considered an advantage.
•Experience using Quantum, or other similar MRO software systems.
