Job Description

Responsibilities:
1. Provides technical advice and assist battery personnel in replacement, orientation, alignment, checks, adjustments and system integration and checkout (SICO) of the Patriot major end items equipment.
2. Isolates malfunction in the system using automatic and semi-automatic program maintenance diagnostic, unit self-test, BITE and external test equipment.
3. Perform repair of Patriot ECS, RS, IFF, AMG, LRPT, GMT and LS.
4. Provides technical assistance in maintaining the Patriot power generations equipment, communication equipment and assist in missiles handling operations as required.
5. Participates in on-the-job training (OJT) programs and assist in the section officer in enforcing safety policies, procedures and standards.
6. Identifies faulty work practices and demonstrates proper maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
7. Prepare and submit maintenance reports and system problem reports (SPR’s) to the Battery Commander.
8. Performs other related duties as required or directed by the Section Officer


Candidate Requirements

Required Qualifications:
1. Associate Degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an accredited university
Or
2. Equivalent electronic experience on the basis of the two (2) additional years of experiences for each one (1) year of higher education.
And
3. Must have successfully completed the Patriot Operator and System Mechanic Course
(Patriot Organizational Maintenance) or an equivalent course of instruction conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Air Defense School or the Patriot System Contractor
4. Saudi National

Required Experiences:
1. Must have a minimum of four (4) years of field experience in the operations, maintenance, test and repair of the ECS, RS, IFF, AMG, LRPT, GMT and LS at organizational maintenance (OM) level.
2. Must be proficient in orientation and alignment operations and in troubleshooting, isolating and correcting malfunctions in the Patriot System using automatic and semi-automatic program maintenance diagnostic, unit self-test and built-in test equipment (BITE)
3. Must be skilled kin the use of tools and test equipment contained in the Battery Maintenance Center (BMC) .
4. A general knowledge of the operations and organizational maintenance of power generation and communication equipment is required.
