The Curtain Installer is responsible for the accurate measurement, installation, and maintenance of curtains, blinds, rods, tracks, and other window‑treatment systems. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on‑site in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Works closely with clients, designers, and supervisors to ensure high‑quality finishing and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
Take accurate site measurements for curtains, blinds, and window coverings.
Install curtain rods, tracks, brackets, blinds, and motorized systems.
Hang curtains, sheers, blackout fabrics, and drapery panels with proper alignment.
Adjust and level installations to ensure smooth operation and perfect fitting.
Inspect installation areas and identify any structural or alignment issues.
Assemble and install pelmets, Roman blinds, roller blinds, and accessories.
Coordinate with the workshop team for fabric cutting, stitching, and preparation.
Provide on‑site recommendations to clients regarding installation options.
Repair or replace damaged tracks, brackets, or curtain accessories.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety procedures when working at heights or using power tools.
Ensure clean and tidy work areas after installation.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in curtain installation, blinds fitting, or interior furnishing (preferred).
Knowledge of curtain types, fabrics, tracks, and hardware.
Ability to use hand tools, drills, levels, and measuring equipment.
Basic understanding of motorized curtain systems (optional but valuable).
Ability to read measurements, drawings, and installation instructions.
Physically fit and able to work at heights or on ladders.
