Petrafos Energy, a Global Commodities Trading Group, is seeking an Agri Commodities Trader specializing in Coffee, Grains, Spices, Tea, etc., to launch and lead operations at Dubai, for its newly formed brand Gramoj.
Gramoj aims to create worldwide trading value chains of agricultural commodities, with a strong focus on sustainable procurement.

Responsibilities:
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and initiate trades that align with the organization’s strategy
• Negotiate contracts with beneficial terms and ensure efficient execution of trade in accordance with the terms laid down by the contract
• Manage logistics effectively and tackle any operational glitches
• Be in charge of the cargo through each stage of its journey by liaising with support teams.
• Ensure that the organization’s revenue and volume targets are met
• Take responsibility of PnL of each trade and maintain own book
• Monitor organization’s speculative and hedged positions and make recommendations
• Develop and foster a worldwide network of buyers, suppliers, agents and brokers
• Manage relationship with all the stakeholders in the value chain
• Monitor supply demand patterns, price movements, market dynamics, commodities news and weather patterns for effective decision making
• Develop organization’s trading policies and strategies in collaboration with the management
• Be committed towards meeting organization’s sustainability targets.
• Manage relationship with Farmer Producer Organizations and support the organizations efforts in collaborating with them for sourcing.
• Be in charge of warehouse management and ensure that quality and hygiene standards are met in the storage facilities
Skills
• 10 years of experience working with agricultural commodities in the Indian, Middle Eastern, European, and African markets 1
• Confirmed network of counterparties and a proven record of increase in the book of business
• Self-starter with ability to take on responsibilities with minimum supervision and deliver in a startup environment
• Acute commercial sense
• Strong interperson skills Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Commer Master’s degr preferred
