Job Summary
My Door Glass is looking for an experienced Draftsman with expertise in office glass partitions, shower partitions, and aluminum works. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, capable of preparing detailed shop drawings, and able to coordinate with the project and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop technical drawings for office glass partitions, shower enclosures, aluminum doors, and glass-related works.
Review architectural and structural drawings before preparing shop drawings.
Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients regarding design modifications.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Revise drawings based on client comments and site conditions.
Maintain proper doentation and drawing revisions.
Assist the project team during execution by providing technical drawing support.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience as a Draftsman in the glass and aluminum industry.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience in office glass partitions and shower partition projects is mandatory.
Good understanding of technical drawings and construction details.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the UAE construction or interior fit-out industry.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
