Position Summary
The Interior Designer is responsible for developing creative and functional design solutions and supporting the successful execution of projects. The role includes design development, material selection, preparation of design doentation, coordination with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring that the approved design is properly implemented on site.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop design concepts, mood boards, material selections, and furniture layouts.
•Prepare and coordinate 2D drawings, elevations, and design doentation.
•Assist in the preparation and review of 3D visualizations and presentations.
•Select finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories according to project requirements.
•Attend client meetings, site visits, and project coordination meetings.
•Coordinate with drafters, suppliers, contractors, and project teams.
•Review and incorporate client comments and revisions.
•Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and quality standards.
•Ensure execution works comply with approved drawings, materials, and design intent.
•Assist in resolving design-related site issues and technical challenges.
•Review material samples, shop drawings, and mock-ups during execution.
•Support procurement activities by reviewing furniture, material, and supplier selections.
•Prepare site reports and update the Lead Designer on project progress.
•Ensure assigned tasks are completed according to project schedules and company standards.
