Senior Accountant & Operations Administrator

Job Overview
A rapidly growing, multi-concept hospitality group operating premium casual dining, traditional sweets, and specialty Indian cuisine brands across Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Accountant & Operations Administrator.

Based at our corporate head office, you will oversee the group’s financial health, streamline backend administration, and implement robust internal controls across all retail units. This role is designed for a strategic financial professional who can manage high-volume transactional data, optimize food costs, and lead corporate compliance and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities
1. Advanced Financial & Cost Accounting:

Financial Oversight & Reporting: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including consolidated Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts for the group.

Audit & Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and enforce strict internal financial controls across all branches to minimize cash leakage and inventory variances.

Advanced Reconciliations: Oversee and audit complex daily sales reconciliations, credit card settlements, and third-party aggregator payouts (Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon, etc.), resolving systemic discrepancies.

Food Costing & Variance Analysis: Analyze theoretical vs. actual food costs, monitor menu engineering profitability, track wastage, and collaborate with operations to optimize margins.

Tax Compliance: Ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations, including accurate quarterly VAT filings, corporate tax doentation, and coordination with external auditors.

2. Senior Administration & Compliance:

Corporate Compliance: Manage and track the timely renewal of all corporate doentation, including group trade licenses, commercial permits, municipality certifications, and food safety approvals.

Strategic HR Admin: Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, managing WPS payroll processing, visa allocations, medical insurance renewals, and corporate HR doentation.

Vendor & Contract Management: Review and negotiate commercial terms with key suppliers, maintenance contractors, and delivery aggregators to maximize corporate cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Senior or Lead capacity within the UAE F sector.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, or ACCA) are highly advantageous.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced mastery of restaurant POS backends, inventory management modules, and standard ERP accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP). Elite Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling) are mandatory.

Expert Knowledge: Deep expertise in UAE labor law, WPS payroll, FTA VAT regulations, and local hospitality licensing procedures.

Leadership: Exceptional analytical aen, problem-solving skills, and the leadership presence required to guide branch managers and interface directly with ownership.
